Ingredients
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the carrots with the olive oil. Add the ranch seasoning, 2 tbsp Parmesan, a pinch of salt and pepper, and the cornstarch. Toss well to coat.
- Arrange the carrots in the basket in a single layer with a little space between them. Cook 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket or turning the fries halfway, until tender with browned edges. Thick sticks may need up to 18 minutes.
- While hot, toss with the remaining 1 tbsp Parmesan. Taste and add a pinch of salt if needed.
- Serve right away with ranch, garlic yogurt, or your favorite dip.
Notes
- Cut size controls texture. Thinner sticks cook faster and crisp more at the edges. Thicker sticks give a softer, fry-like interior.
- Parmesan can brown quickly. Mixing some in before cooking adds flavor, and finishing with the rest gives a fresh, cheesy coating without burning.
